An important plant to me personally, this isn’t one you can cozy up to as it is covered in wicked teeny hairlike prickers that can get under your skin and become infected. Yet, when a renowned herbalist asked an indigenous elder what it was used for, she is reported to have said, “Everything” with a scornful look at his question. The essence has clues to and cures for what is deviling you. It takes strength to confront one’s fears and challenges, and strength to take the often-bitter medicine such as that of Devil’s Club in its physical form. Energetically I always get that this essence is about boundaries & perimeters, yet also Grandmother Coyote as Trickster - like how can something so prickly be so beneficial?! Native to the Pacific Northwest temperate rainforests and sacred to its peoples.

Lane’s Greenwich tarot deck is gorgeous!

Lane brilliantly combined the tarot with expressions of it found in her paintings. I don’t believe that she had planned to create a deck when the paintings came to life but they are inspired and well suited for this. I was fortunate to sit with Lane recently for a Greenwich tarot card reading. I found that her expressive and complex art enriched our discussion and helped me get deeper into my present circumstances and future considerations. A guide book with every card’s interpretation is provided in the box. I took home my own box signed by the author. It may take some time to become acquainted with all of the cards but based on my enjoyment during our reading, doing so will be fascinating.

Wowza! What a Powerful Tarot deck

Yesterday I opened my Greenwitch Tarot cards and did my first reading! Not only is the art work stunning, the booklet full of excellent insights what I appreciated most was the cards themselves! They FEEL lush and silky. I’m very tactile and so the feel of things matters to me. This set is just lovely and so well made! My first reading was so powerful and positive!
